What happens at a Silver Diva party?
The Silver Diva mobile jewelry parties are super fun! Great idea for a children’s birthday party, bat mitzvah, or just for a get together!
Parties generally last 1.5 hours. We arrive and set up the spaces for each guest. Guests will arrive and get to choose their supplies for their party. The party hostess will explain how to hand stamp and demonstrate for them if hand stamping is part of your party. Children practice for as long as they feel comfortable and then do the real finished piece. They spend some time coloring in their jewelry and then the party hostess assembles each piece into the final product while cake and presents are going on. Children leave with their jewelry when the party is over.
How long does it take to receive my jewelry?
Our current production time is 48-72 hours. Shipping time will depend on your location & shipping method. Our customers generally receive their jewelry approximately 1 week after placing their order.
Is your jewelry sterling silver?
The majority of our pieces are 925 sterling silver or pewter. 925 is the international hallmark for sterling silver. This means the jewelry contains 92.5% silver and the rest are other metals and alloys. We do also create some pieces with copper, gold filled, brass or aluminum metals. Each listing specifically states what metals are used for that piece so please check the item description.
What areas will The Silver Diva travel to for a party?
The Silver Diva will travel to all neighborhoods in the Cincinnati area including Mason, West Chester, Wyoming, Finneytown, Maineville, Lebanon, Blue Ash, Montgomery, Madeira, Indian Hill, Colerain and Batavia. We will also travel in the Dayton and Centerville areas and Northern Kentucky.
What if I need my item right away?
We do offer rush order shipping. This is $30 for domestic orders which includes priority shipping. Please email us right away if this is your situation. We will do what we can to make sure your order arrives in time.
How do I clean and care for my piece?
Sterling silver tarnishes from contact with the air. When you are not wearing your piece, please keep it stored in an airtight plastic bag. Nothing fancy is needed – just a simple Ziploc will work wonders. You should clean your piece a couple times a year with silver polish. Do not wear your piece while bathing or swimming and if your piece has gemstones, please remove when sleeping. Copper will tarnish much faster than sterling silver. Please care for it the same way as sterling and you may need to clean it more often to keep it bright and shiny.
Will the letters be perfectly straight/even?
Probably not - this lends to the charm of your individual one of a kind piece and should not be considered a defect. We hand craft each piece individually; some imperfection is to be expected.
